Miss Soul Situation is the singer of singers. Miss Lavelle White born in Louisiana moved to Houston, TX at an early age and immediately started recording for Duke Records 1958 ­ 1964. She wrote her own songs and wrote for other artists like Bobby Bland (Lead Me On). Her first band was with Sweets and Clarence Hollimon. She played later in bands with Albert Collins and Guitar Slim. Lately, she has recordings with Antone's Records. Lavelle has shared the stage with such artist as the Isley Brother, Aretha Franklin, Sam Cook and James Brown.
