About Donald "Duck" Jennings
Donald "Duck" Jennings was born and raised in Austin and is now a stalwart in Texas blues history. Beginning trumpet in the fifth grade, Donald cruised from concert band to swinging street blues and R&B with his first band, The Daylighters. After tenures with locals Blues Boy Hubbard, W.C. Clark, Jean and the Roulettes and James Polk and the Brothers, Donald became one of the most sought after trumpeters for touring acts such as Lou Rawls and Etta James. Donald is now most known worldwide for his work with The Matthew Robinson Blues Band and for his smooth delivery as a sassy showman. He surrenders a sweet serenade for this project entitled "last Night" that showcases quite a fine voice behind the horn.
